Guest Speaker Rev Dr. Christian Sorensen

Known as one of the most inspirational and dynamic speaker in his field, Dr. Christian  Sorensen touches the hearts of his listeners with impassioned talks. His charismatic  delivery, combined with the depth of his messages, has made his weekly podcasts attractive  to thousands of viewers worldwide.  In addition, Dr. Sorensen has established an important presence in the North San Diego  area by delivering lectures to various business and community groups. He has authored  eight books. His recently published Joyous Living Journal (with Petra Weldes) offers 365  daily motivational messages including affirmations for positive living. The book is being  distributed through Amazon and is also available through Seaside Center’s bookstore.  His other books include Catch the Spirit, Riding the Waves of Life and its sequel Flying  through Life, A Book of Prayers, Good Cents, Free Your Own Tibet, and Joyous Freedom  Journal.

Dr. Sorensen is a world traveler, having led groups to Tibet, India, China, Europe, Africa  and Australia. An avid sportsman, he spends his free time surfing in Costa Rica and skiing  in Montana and often weaves his adventure stories throughout his messages, inspiring  audiences to live life to the fullest.  He co-founded Science of Mind churches in Costa Mesa, California and Oahu, Hawaii and  was the last appointed President of the worldwide United Church of Religious Science and  their first elected Spiritual Leader. He also serves as Director of the nationally accredited  Masters in Consciousness Studies Program of the San Diego campus of the Holmes Institute  with satellite campuses in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Dr. Sorensen resides in Encinitas, California with his wife, Kalli, their teenage son, Trevor,  and their killer cat, Zack.
